What Is A Flexible LED Screen?

A flexible LED screen is a led screen that the frame or the module is flexible. Normally the modules of the screen are connected with Hinge, Chain, Soft Material, or Soft PCB, etc, So that the screen can be flexible among the modules. Flexible Led Screen is also called bendable Led Screen. With the flexible feature, It is very popular in making customized shape screen for various applications. Such as Sphere LED Screens, Ball shape LED Screens, LED Screen Cube, and also wave shaped screens.

Due to different bending mechanism, So those Screen also have different bending ability, and also have different inward and outward bending ability

Flexible Led Screen with Hinge mechanism: The hinge determine the bending ability, as the hinge can stay at different angle, So this kind of screen is normally to make Curved LED Screen. Due to different applications, it can be made convex shape or concave shape.

Flexible Led Screen with Chain Mechanism: Normally this type of flexible screen’s module are connected with Chain, So that the Adjacent module can be foldable. Are Curved Flexible Screens More Expensive?

For different kind of flexible LED Screen, the price is different. While for most of the time, the Flexible LED screen cost a little more than the normal flat LED Screen. As the flexible LED Screen is normally used on situations that the flat screen can not do.
 
For the hinge type Flexible LED Screen, It can not only display as curved screen, it can also display as normal flat screen. Hence it can reduce the stock of our LED screen. This type of flexible LED Screen is cost more for its double function.
 
For the Chain mechanism and soft material LED Screen: Those screen can be foldable or rollable. hence this screen is very easy to setup or take down. Besides those screen are also very thin and light. As now the labor cost is very expensive, with those screen it saves a lot time and labor cost.

How To Make A Flexible Led Screen, Led Curtain Display.

There are different methods in making flexible LED Screen. 
  1. Using flexible frame materials like special made cloth, rubber, silicon rubber. Then fix the module on the surface of the flexible frame, Hence the screen can be flexible like curtain.
  2. Using Chain to link adjacent modules. hence those module can be bendable around the chain. 
  3. Using Hinge to link adjacent modules, hence those module can be bendable around the hinge.
