Common Cathode Design, Saving more energy, Less heat, and give a better image quality
There are 3 led lamp in led screen’s pixel. Red lamp, Blue lamp and green lamp. Those lamp has different drive voltage. For the red lamp it’s drive voltage is 2.8V, and for Blue and Green lamp their drive voltage are 3.8V. Conventional LED Screen using the same drive voltage for those lamp. As P =UI, hence when the current is the same, the bigger voltage the bigger the energy it would consume. And more heat it would generate. By usimg common cathode technology, We power the red lamp with 3.2V, and green, blue lamp with 4.2V, which can save a lot energy. Checking more information here.
