What Pixel Pitch Should Use In Outdoor LED Screen?
For the outdoor LED screen, Normally it is installed on the surface of a building, or on a tall pillar. the viewing distance to the screen would be more than 10 meters. So For the outdoor LED Screen. Pixel pitch 10mm would be enough to show high quality contents

Viewing Distance For The Outdoor LED Screen?
For the outdoor led advertising screen, when it comes to the viewing distance, there are several factors that affected it.
1: Pixel pitch: Pixel pitch would determine the shortest viewing distance(where that we can not distinguish the pixel dot on the screen) normally for the outdoor screen, 10mm would be enough. hence we would know, the shortness viewing distance would be around 10 meters.
2: The size of the screen: As this is installed for advertising purpose, We have certainly have resolution requirement when display content ( images or videos), For example, for play FHD video, 1980*1080 pixels. If we use 10mm pixel pitch, then the screen’s size would be 19.8m wide * 10.8 m Heigh. The max content distinguish viewing distance is the screen’s heigh*30. so we would know for this screen 19.8m wide*10.8m heigh, it can be viewed from 300meters away.(assume the brightness is enough, while when over 300meters, we would find it hard to know what is playing on the screen)
3: The height it would be installed: If the Screen want to be view at a longer distance, it would be better to installed higher.
What Brightness Should The Outdoor LED Screen Be?
Brightness is a very important factor for LED screen, as this would determine whether the content of the screen can be perceived by people, especial for outdoor LED Screen.
As the screen is placed outdoor, so when we decide the brightness, we need to take sunlight into consideration. If the Screen is installed in a place that would be exposed to sunlight directly. The brightness would be better over 7500nit.
While if the screen won’t be exposed to sunlight, then the brightness would be much less, 4500-5500nit can be ok.
As the screen is not constantly exposed under sunlight, so it is better to have a light sensor that the screen can change the brightness of the screen based on the ambient light, just like out phone does.

Six important factors to consider in installing outdoor LED Screen

Hence before installing outdoor led screen, we need to design and install thunder protection devices. To make sure the main frame of the screen and the casing are well grounded. The grounding resistance is less than 3 ohms, so that the large current caused by thunder can be discharged in time, hence making the screen safe and sound.

3. Circuit chip selection
