For example if the controller\u2019s resolution is 1920*1080,and the screen A\u2019s physical resolution is 2560&#215;288, then only the pixel\u2019s coordinate within 1920&#215;1080 can be controlled by this controller which means that only the pixels with the coordinate of (0,0)-(1920,288) in Screen A can be controlled (lighted up), the pixels with coordinate of (1921,0)-(2560,288) would not be controlled( which would be light off)<\/p><p>The default resolution of the controller is normally determined by the input port, For example, HDMI1.3 normally is 1920&#215;1080@60Hz, HDMI2.0 can be 4K. (Mctrl300\u2019s default resolution is 1920&#215;1080@60hz, it can also customized other resolutions, but it has a limitation of the MAX width 3840&#215;600@60Hz and MAX height 600&#215;3840@60Hz.<\/p><p>Hence The screen setup can be divided into 3 different conditions. For example<\/p><p>If the screen&#8217;s physical resolution is 4800&#215;200, While from the video controller (also be called sending box, sending card)\u2019s part, it has a limit of the MAX width or height it can carry. To play text, it need to use cut-to-display-window. (this means you need to pre customized the materials, of course, you can stop the play, and change another display materials)<\/p><p>1.2: The video source is coming from a digital box, DVD, generated from a graphic card, or live stream and directly connected to the video controller, Then the video source has to be resolution of 1200&#215;800. (this means the materials can changing all the time without stop)<br \/>The difference of those two conditions, is because, when you use Viplex (colorlight also have such software), and you use 4800*200resolution videos source, actually viplex has done the conversion.<\/p><p>1.3: Problems<br \/>When using Synchronizing system, we need to be careful with the controller you are using, as HDMI1.4 can only support MAX 3840*1080 resolution input. HDMI2.0 and DP1.2 can support 4K resolution input.
