As the pixel pitch of the led screen become smaller and smaller, hence the led chip also become smaller and smaller. in the normal package of the SMD, it has a package limitation of around 1mm x 1mm, as when the package size is less than 1mm x 1mm, the soldering is not strong enough for the lamp to hold in the PCB. and MIP is a technology, that we can make those small led chip 4 series of RGB lamp packed within one package, hence this 4 lamp would have a bigger package which can have a better soldering on the PCB which means it has a better ability in handling impact.
